Reebok Question 96/26

Back in 1996, the only AI that was on anyone's minds, unless you were a huge fan of the Terminator franchise, was Allen Iverson. The number 1 overall pick won rookie of the year for the 76ers, and he debuted his first signature sneaker with Reebok, the Question, that same year. But we’re 30 years removed from this, and when we think of AI, we think of ChatGPT, Claude, and Google Gemini. AI (Allen Iverson, not artificial intelligence) knows that the future is here, and he’s bringing his OG signature model to 2026 with a 3D-printed update.

Zellerfeld’s 3D-Printed Reebok Question

Not a true 1-to-1 recreation of AI’s Reebok Question, this new 3D-printed version done by the folks at Zellerfeld turns the shoe into a slip-on with runner vibes. The German 3D-printing pioneers’ proprietary compound, which is durable, soft, and structured, forms the entire sneaker, with denser portions around the toe and the sole unit. A softer, more flexible TPU, done in a similar pattern to the Nike Air Max 1000, lands around the tongue and toebox.

Reebok’s vector logo graces the midfoot, while the Question’s signature oval-shaped Hexalite pods are recreated in 3D form, though they don’t seem to feature actual Hexalite cushioning. As far as colors are concerned, Zellerfeld has printed a plain white version as well as a purple color, the latter a signature of many Zellerfeld-produced products.
