The Oklahoma Sooners women’s basketball squad is heading into the NCAA tournament on the top side of the seeding, with a serious chance at a March Madness run, thanks in large part to freshman star Aaliyah Chavez, who leads the team with over 18 points a game. Her secret? The Mamba Mentality. A new pair of Nike Kobe 9 Protro PEs always helps, too.
A Nike NIL athlete and longtime team Kobe repper, Chavez posted her first Nike Kobe PE, aside from a black weartest Nike Kobe 3 Low she’s been spotted wearing, on Instagram this week, showing off a black mesh pair of Kobe 9 Protro Lows with a multi-color midsole in the same palette as the logo for her dad’s Texas-based training facility, The Lab.
“The game has been good to me!” Chavez wrote on Instagram. “To all my lab family, this is for always having my back and believing in me when nobody else did!”
