Anthony Edwards’ adidas Believe That 1 will debut June 2026

Anthony Edwards has been the face of the adidas basketball program for a few years now. The loud, brash, high-flying, newly minted All-Star Game MVP is a throwback to NBA personalities of past eras, ready to talk smack at every turn and back it up when the rubber meets the hardwood. After two signature silhouettes and early looks at his third flagship model, adidas is ready to add a new Anthony Edwards signature to the mix, this time for outdoor hoopers and discount shoppers who still want to ball like the Ant Man.

The adidas Believe That 1 is Edwards’ first discount takedown model, following the footsteps of a long line of signature athletes who have dropped a second section of their signature line for kids and parents who, understandably, don’t want to dip above a C-Note for shoes that will only be worn when it’s time to hoop.

We first got word of the Believe That 1 coming down the pike last year and even saw some detailed mock-ups and quick previews of the shoe. Now, we’ve got official images of the first two pairs, one in black with grey accents and the other in clay red with black hits throughout. The shoe takes the design language from AE’s signature line and makes it a bit simpler, with vented side panels and a toebox that comes to a point, but with less of the detailed intricacies and performance tech in the AE 1 or AE 2.

Anthony Edwards’ adidas Believe That 1 will debut June 2026 through adidas and select retailers in-store and online. Available in adult and grade school sizing, retail is set at $100 for men’s sizes and $80 for GS pairs.
