If you’ve been paying any attention to the skateboard industry for the past decade or so, this one probably feels a little overdue. Kader Sylla has been ripping since he was a kid, coming up with the Baker camp before teaming up with filmer Bill Strobeck to form Violet, a board company that now sponsors some of the industry’s best young talent. After years on adidas, Kader is finally joining the signature sneaker ranks, debuting the adidas Kader next month.
Kader’s Shoe is Finally Here
The adidas Kader has been on our radar for months now after Sylla posted a preview of the pair on a skate trip across Africa. Since then, the Supreme-sponsored hucker has been rocking sample pairs in skate clips, and now, the shoe is finally slated for release, with two debut colorways dropping at skate shops around the world in mid-October.
Featuring a mid-top design with suede and leather across the reinforced toebox, lower side panels, and heel. The Three Stripes add extra stitching and thick lace loops on top, with leather in between and soft mesh on the tongue. The first colorway features a black upper with purple suede on the Three Stripe lace loops and stitching. The second pair starts with brown on the suede, with black on the leather backing, and yellow snakeskin on the lace loops and tongue logo.
adidas Kader Release Details
The adidas Kader will debut October 16, 2026, through adidas and select skate shops in-store and online, with Kader hitting the road for a skate shop tour the first two weeks of October for early drops in Minneapolis, Des Moines, Kansas City, Denver, and Los Angeles.
