Major League Baseball celebrated Jackie Robinson Day on Wednesday, paying tribute to the day Jackie played his first game for the Brooklyn Dodgers. In a sign of respect, Robinson’s number 42 jersey is taken out of leaguewide retirement for the day, with every player in the league wearing his iconic digits on the back of their uniforms.

Nike is also known to get in on the Jackie Robinson Day tradition, and this year was no different, with a pack of V5 RNR runners, cleats, and a glove all decked out in 42 graphics and Jackie Robinson details. Not wanting to be left out, Jordan Brand also got in on Wednesday’s action, dolling out PE Air Jordan 11 cleat colorways to the brand’s sponsored ballplayers, both in low and mid-top fashion.
