Jordan Brand Made a Laser-Etched Friends and Family Space Jam 11 for the Movie’s 30th Anniversary

The Jordan and Warner Brothers teams got together in LA this week to celebrate Space Jam. Michael Jordan and Bugs Bunny’s cinematic masterpiece turns 30 this year, and even after three decades, the movie still stands up to as many rewatches as your old VHS tape can handle. At the event, Jordan Brand unveiled its entire Space Jam 30th Anniversary Collection, including a new take on the iconic Air Jordan 11 Space Jam for a few select insiders.

Lasers in Space

The Air Jordan 11 Retro Space Jam Laser F&F was on display at the Jordan Space Jam event in Los Angeles, and at first glance, it appears to be a classic black, white, and blue Space Jam 11. Upon closer inspection, though, the Friends & Family exclusive is the latest Jumpman pair to bring back the brand’s laser style, etching Space Jam movie graphics across the patent leather panel.

The graphic panel features Monstars, basketball courts, Jordan 11 tongue logos, a baseball player silhouette, Jumpman leaping through planetary rings, and more. The Jumpman logo on the lateral ankle and the outsole both pop in a bright shade of electric blue, and a 30 logo on the heel instead of a 23 to rep the movie’s anniversary.
