For sneakers, once a decade or two passes, it’s usually time for a retro release, and Jordan Brand is honing in on the mid-oughts for their upcoming Air Jordan slate. One of the first for 2026 will be the Air Jordan 14 Black University Blue.

The 2026 retro of the Air Jordan 14 Black University Blue has been on the radar for over half a year, but as we approach the release in a few weeks, official Nike images have finally appeared. Things are kept 1:1 from the original 2006 release, which was the last time this pair hit shelves, as the upper is coated in black suede. Contrasting the blacked-out details are university blue hits on the Ferrari-inspired badge on the collar, the Jumpman and Jordan branding on the toe and tongue, the neoprene heel tab, and portions of the midsole. Final details include Jumpman and 23 branding on the heel tab in a marbled grey look, a black, silver, and blue midsole, and a tonal rubber outsole.

As we mentioned before, Jordan Brand is going all in on 2000s Jordans, as there are a handful of different releases slated for 2026 that date back to this era.
