We Got a Look at the Upcoming Air Jordan 4 Lakers at the Inglewood Jordan Brand House

If we’ve said it once, we’ve said it a million times: it doesn’t matter how nice an arena Steve Ballmer builds or how much money (over and under the table) he pays Kawhi, Los Angeles is a Lakers city. Case in point, Jordan’s All-Star Weekend drops in LA this week include a Lakers-colored Air Jordan 4, releasing earlier than previously expected.

We got an in-hand preview of the Air Jordan 4 Lakers colorway at the Jordan Brand House in Inglewood, and if you’re a Lakers fan, Kobe fan, or just like good sneaker colorways, this one is a must-have.

Covered in plush purple nubuck across the entire upper, the midsole mixes grey, black, and cream for a classic look, with more black on the lace wing, sockliner, and laces, and more grey on the webbed plastic eyelets at the top and bottom. Gold branding on the Jumpman tongue logo and Nike Air heel hits complete the Lakers colorway, with more gold inside the Air bubble in the heel.

The Air Jordan 4 Retro Lakers will be released during All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles alongside a stacked lineup of Jordan drops. Available in full-family sizing, the retail price is set at $220 (men), $165 (GS), $105 (PS), and $90 (TD).
