It’s not often that non-OG Air Jordan colorways get the same love as the ones Mike wore on the court, but the Toro Bravo Air Jordan 4 definitely fits into this category. Originally released in 2013, the red, black, grey, and white AJ 4 looks like something that could have been released in ‘89 during the model's initial run. Immediately after its release, it went down as a fan-favorite Jordan 4 colorway, and over a dozen years since its last drop, pairs are beginning to suffer the feared fate of crumbling. Luckily, the sneaker is back in 2026, we have official images to prove it.
We first heard of the Toro Bravo’s return back in August 2025, and in January 2026, retailer images of the new retro appeared. But now, Nike’s own official images show us the new version of the sneaker. The red durabuck upper remains, with red plastic netting covering the black mesh on the tongue and midfoot.

Grey accents pop on the wing eyelets, the Jumpman and Flight-branded woven tongue label, and the sockliner. Just like the original release, this pair opts for a Jumpman on the heel tab, no Nike Air. Finishing the sneaker is the black and white AJ 4 midsole and a grey and black outsole. Also, a big plus for this retro is the face box used to package the colorway.

It’s also important to note that the shape of the Air Jordan 4 has changed drastically since the 2013 release of the Toro Bravo AJ 4. That means this pair will fit and feel different compared to the OG, but that’s a good thing. Tooling has been changed to improve the comfort, while the structure of the shoe also fits more true-to-size than it did before the Nike SB retooling in 2023.
The Air Jordan 4 Retro Toro Bravo will be released Summer 2026 through Nike and select Jordan retailers online and in-store. Available in full-family sizing, the retail price is set at $220 (men), $160 (GS), $100 (PS), and $85 (TD).
