When you think Space Jam sneakers, you’re usually picturing the black and icy blue 11s that Mike wore in the final scene of the film against the Monstars, but true Space Jam heads know that wasn’t the only pair of Jordans to star on the silver screen. In the first scene where Jordan enters Tune World and starts practicing on a spit-shined court, Mike laces up a brand new pair of Jordan 9s that also took on the Space Jam nickname.

The Air Jordan 9 Retro Space Jam is a clean mix of white and black with red accents. Starting with a black speckled base running from the toe around the bottom section of the side panel up to the entire heel and lace panel. The rest of the upper transitions to white leather, with dimpled perforations running up the side panels.
Last but not least, the Air Jordan branding on the tongue and the Jumpman at the lateral heel on the midsole are both red for a splash of color. Jordan was playing minor league baseball when the Air Jordan 9 dropped, so he never wore this pair on an NBA court, but a Looney Tunes court is just as good.
