Bam Adebayo Debuts the Latest Jordan 40 Hybrid, the 4020

Being a Jordan Brand athlete isn’t all about endless boxes of retro drops and collabs like it is for friends & family influencers like Lil Yachty or DJ Khaled. In addition to big boxes of lifestyle classics, being signed to the brand for your athletic prowess does give you privileges that the entertainers don’t get, like opportunities to debut new performance models on court.

For Bam Adebayo, Thursday night’s win against the Brooklyn Nets was the perfect opportunity to break out the latest remix of the Jordan 40, continuing the recent hybrid trend with the Air Jordan 4020, taking influence from the OG White Laser colorway of the 20th anniversary Air Jordan 20.

Only seen during Adebayo’s 17 rebound game against the Nets, the Air Jordan 4020 features a white leather colorway with the Jordan 20’s distinct forefoot strap covered in laser-etched Jordan Brand logo graphics. So far, we’ve seen the Air Jordan 40 take on retooled colorways inspired by the Air Jordan 14, 16, and 23.
