BAPE and Vans are both making the best of the 20-year hype cycle. Fashion’s typical two-decade trend revival has been kind to the kings of mid-2000s sneakers and streetwear, with Vans taking the OTW line to new heights thanks to Pearlized Old Skools and perfectly placed collabs, and BAPE mixing with new school collaborators like Kid Super and Hidden NY. Now, the two brands are joining forces to continue their long partnership.

Old School Collab, Knu Skool Vibes

The BAPE x Vans Knu Skool features two pairs of the exaggerated Old Skool sequel, switching up the side panel stripe for a BAPE shooting star on one side and adding a set of shark teeth to the front of the midsole. The two pairs mix two shades of camo on each shoe, with one on the lateral and the other on the medial, with Stars and Stripes mixing like the flag.

On the other pair, a BAPE camo mixes with Vans’ classic checkerboard for a true co-branded collab. The base of both shoes features black suede just in case you want to skate them, with A BATHING APE embossed on the side of the midsoles and metallic silver BAPE head lace dubraes on both pairs.

BAPE x Vans Knu Skool Collection Release Details
