London-based jeweler Bleue Burnham has been busy in the countryside town of Flimby. Taking a break from bracelets and necklaces to dip its toe in the sneaker industry, the brand took on a new challenge with the design of a brand-new garden on the grounds of New Balance’s Made in UK factory, bringing native plants and peaceful serenity for employees to enjoy. Beyond the garden, the jeweler also went inside the factory to put its spin on the 991v1.
Bleue Burnham Goes Black
The Bleue Burnham x New Balance 991v1 Made in UK Pack debuted with a brown leather pair, taking after the dirt in the newly dug garden. On a newly seen second colorway, Bleue remade the 991v1 in black leather with the same bright multi-color stitching that covers the upper of the brown pair.
