Perfect 10: Carpet Company and Vans Celebrate the Baltimore Brand’s 10th Anniversary with a Croc Print Old Skool

Carpet Company is not only leading Baltimore’s skate and streetwear scene, but the Maryland-based skate label with a retail HQ in Charm City is a global sensation, selling out collections at skate shops the world over. After crossing over outside of the skate scene with its Salomon collab earlier this year, Carpet is celebrating 10 years of heat with a co-branded colorway from the originators of the skate shoe.

Blue Crocs in a Fortune Cookie

The Carpet Company x Vans Old Skool is a gorgeous take on last year’s yellow Old Skool collab in ocean-blue croc skin with fuzzy green rope laces. A red co-branded tongue logo features a big “V” in white to match the side panel stripe, with a Carpet logo in black in small letters underneath. A Carpet star logo is added on the lateral heel, with a yellow, weathered midsole underfoot.

Instead of a regular release, though, the Carpet Company x Vans Old Skool Blue Crocodile won’t be sold. Instead, the pairs will be given away at the brand’s 10th anniversary party, with custom-made fortune cookies featuring a select number of winning fortunes that correspond to a free pair of the kicks.

The Carpet Company x Vans Old Skool 36 Blue Croc will be given away to lucky fortune cookie winners at the Carpet Company 10th anniversary celebration at the brand’s Baltimore HQ on October 10, 2026 at 10 AM.
