Chet Holmgren’s Nike KD 18 PEs Release in March

When Kevin Durant retires, it’s pretty clear who will be the face of the Nike KD line in the NBA. Bronny Ja… just kidding, Chet Holmgren. The Oklahoma City Thunder big man, whose lanky build and on-court abilities draw many comparisons to a younger Durant, has long revered KD and his sneakers. KD even shouted out Chet during his rookie year in 2022 for rocking his kicks. Since that moment, their footwear bond has grown stronger, with Holmgren debuting multiple Nike KD PEs, two made for the public. While he made headlines for busting out a rare pair of Nike KD 5s in the N7 colorway, Holmgren is getting ready to drop both his KD 18 PEs early next month.

In the NBA season opener against the Houston Rockets, Chet and KD faced off, making it the perfect opportunity to show the world Holmgren’s Thunder & Reign Nike KD 18 PE. The purple and cheetah print colorway features Holmgren’s lightning bolt logo on the tongue, and reserves the exotic animal print for the toebox overlays, the eyestays, and a portion of the heel. The rest of the sneaker is doused in a single purple hue.

As for Chet’s second PE, the Realtree Camo colorway, the pair was worn on December 2, 2025 against the Golden State Warriors, and OKC walked away with the dub. The colorway itself is covered in earthy tones of tan, brown, and beige, and most noticeably, Realtree camo. This pattern is applied to the midfoot cage, the tongue tag, and the heel. Again, Chet’s logo makes its mark on the right tongue, while KD’s is present on the left.

The Chet Holmgren x Nike KD 18 PE Pack will be released on March 13, 2026 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $165 for each colorway.
