Sneaker Design In Action
In an Instagram post announcing his role as a Jordan Design Studio mentor, Union LA’s Chris Gibbs added an extra slide with a look at some never-before-seen Air Jordan collabs. With a pair of Guava Ice 4s up front, the photo shows off some cutting room floor colorways combining tan and grey corduroy with green accents, and a Golden State Warriors-friendly blue and yellow-accented pair.
Behind the blue and yellow pair, another tan and grey base is seen with a black ankle collar and yellow branding accents. You’ve gotta crack a bunch of eggs to make the perfect collab omelet, and the behind-the-curtain look at Gibbs’ design process is a nice surprise, especially because we like the 4s that did drop more than the forgotten samples.
