The time has finally come. After teaming up with Nike for pairs of Air Max 95s and Huaraches over the past couple of years, UK streetwear brand Corteiz is back with The Swoosh for a new take on a classic Y2K-era silhouette. Posted to Instagram over the weekend, the Corteiz x Nike Shox R419 is a sports car in sneaker form with classic roadman styling.

Corteiz and Nike are Back for More

Continuing the Shox R4 retro revival, the Corteiz collab has been on our radar since last fall, but we hadn’t seen an image of the pair until this past weekend. Taking on the same 419 moniker as Corteiz founder Clint’s Instagram page, the number is a reference to the Nigerian criminal code for fake prince scams and slang for a scammer, a callback to Clint’s Nigerian heritage.

Three different colorways were previewed in the announcement video, including a black/red, metallic silver, and game royal, but Clint gave us a closer look at the silver pair on his own IG page next to a matching silver Mercedes. The colorway adds black to the laces, sockliner, and the top of the tongue, where a red C and CRTZ SHOX logo add clear co-branding. The collab panels bring mesh to the toebox and sports car aerodynamics to the side panels, with Clint showing off the pair wearing a silver tracksuit to match. A mini Corteiz logo is added to the toebox, completing the co-branded details.

Corteiz x Nike Shox R419 Release Details

The Corteiz x Nike Shox R419 will be released Holiday 2026 through Corteiz and possibly Nike and select retailers online and in-store. It’s possible that the colorways will have a staggered release, which is how Corteiz rolled out its previous two Nike footwear collabs. Retail is set at $180.
