After AJ Dybantsa and Wale first debuted the Nike GT Future during the 2025 NBA All-Star Weekend, sneakerheads were clamoring for a chance to cop the silhouette. While it took Nike over four years of development, the positive public reaction was worth the wait, and since its official retail debut with the pre-order of the Fire colorway, almost all pairs have flown off shelves. Now, while we await the launch of the Wale co-signed pink colorway, Flight Club is set to drop the latest Ducks of a Feather collab with Nike on the avant-garde silhouette.

DOAF’s Nike GT Future is quite different from the GT Future PE given to players on the Ducks basketball team, as that pair featured wing graphics stamped atop the upper. This pair opts for a “Metallic Nova” color palette, which comes in a shiny finish akin to the purple Eggplant and Metallic Bronze pairs that already dropped. The shade here is a Ducks-friendly green that shifts depending on the angle the light hits the metallic upper. DOAF branding runs down the spine of the tongue.

Each of the 300 pairs are individually numbered, though we can’t see where in these product shots. Aside from that, the shoe is finished off with black accents on the Swoosh, sockliner, tongue, and outsole, the latter of which features metallic silver GT Future branding near the heel.

The DOAF x Nike GT Future Metallic Nova will be released exclusively via Flight Club NYC on May 9, 2026. As mentioned, the pair is limited to just 300 units. The retail price has not been announced, but expect a bit of a bump from the standard $200 the silhouette usually demands.
