Dover Street Market stands alone in the luxury streetwear landscape. The global retailer has brought careful curation, incredible access, and regional focus to its impeccable selection of sneakers and clothing, with plenty of true high fashion mixed in. With that kind of reputation, DSM’s collab work has also stood above most, and for its latest sneaker partnership, the shop’s subtle aesthetic is bringing an ever-so-slight remix to the On Cloud 6.

Third Eyelet Blind

The Dover Street Market x On Cloud 6 is a pitch-black monochrome colorway of the Swiss brand’s popular lifestyle runner, with a subtle twist that makes a major difference visually. Taking the metal eyelet that usually sits at the top of the On Cloud 6 lace panel, DSM switches out function for fashion, transferring the metal circle to the middle of the side panel and transforming it into an On logo.

In addition to being the only bit of non-black contrast to draw your eye, the lace loop with no laces is designed as a reflector for runners, adding a bit of that function back to come full circle. Beyond the lateral side panel’s eyelet logo hit, the rest of the shoe keeps the same triple-black look from toe to heel and all the way up the tongue.
