Well, unlike the general public, they have access to exclusive sneakers and get truckloads of kicks delivered to their door for free, but outside of that, they’re fans of franchises like Grand Theft Auto and the MCU, like many of us are. For Anthony Edwards, his deal with adidas means he’s got access to the entire Disney IP, which, up until this point, has gone untapped on his signature sneaker line. That’s all about to change as we approach the release of Avengers: Doomsday, as the adidas AE 3 joins The Three Stripes' upcoming celebration of the latest film in the MCU.
adidas AE 3 Dr. Doom Details
Forgoing the clear connection between Ant-Man the superhero and Ant-Man the NBA player, Anthony Edwards and adidas tap into the villain Dr. Doom on a brand-new adidas AE 3. Edwards revealed a look at the shoe with the announcement of the second annual Believe That Awards, with the Dr. Doom AE 3 joining the AE Mule, AE Superstar, Believe That 1, and AE 2 Hellstar in the “Sneaker of the Year Award” category.
The shoe itself isn’t given a clear look, but we can make out plenty of the details from this one shot. The armored upper comes with the same green shade as Dr. Doom’s armor, with silver details found on the toebox and heel. A portrait of Dr. Doom replaces the AE logo on the tongue, while the heel tab features a hit of gold.

The adidas AE 3 Dr. Doom doesn’t have an exact release date just yet, but with adidas prepping multiple Marvel sneakers ahead of Avengers: Doomsday hitting theaters on December 18, 2026, expect the shoe to drop before the film arrives.
