Spooky season is upon us. But outside of the pumpkin-spiced lattes, mountains of candy, and costume shopping, this time of year is also one of the best for sneakers. There’s the NBA’s return and the WNBA playoffs, giving us plenty of opportunities to admire kicks from afar, and of course, there’s the slew of Halloween-inspired sneakers from Nike and Jordan Brand.

Every October, Nike and Jordan Brand prep a series of sneakers that are perfect to celebrate All Hallows Eve, ranging from signature athletes like LeBron James, Kevin Durant, and Sabrina Ionescu to PE colorways from stars on the roster like Victor Wembanyama, and lifestyle sneakers like the AF1. That’s just the tip of the Halloween sneaker iceberg, with this year now including new Nike signature athlete Caitlin Clark and her Nike Caitlin 1 as well as a PE colorway of the ST Charge for upcoming signature star Cade Cunningham.

Nike Ja 4 Halloween

Ja Morant’s Nike sneakers for Halloween have always leaned into a zombie theme, with the Ja 4 Halloween being no different. A ghoulish, scratched and torn skin look is applied to the synthetic upper, with blood-red accents popping on the Swoosh and Ja-Frame containment system. Grillz are added to the vamp, with the insole hosting a photo of a zombified Ja.

A new addition to the Ja Morant signature lineup is the first-ever high-top version of a Nike Ja model, the Nike Ja 4 High. Previewed by Morant, the sneaker features a blood red upper that now features an ankle-high zipper shroud, with olive accents found on the Swoosh and Ja-Frame midfoot stabilizer.

Nike Twelve Time Halloween

The third and final Ja Morant Nike sneaker for Halloween is his new takedown model, the Nike Twelve Time. Ditching the zombie theme for a more family friendly take on the holiday, the shoe is cast in black and grey, with pumpkin orange hues on the Swoosh and sockliner.

Nike Caitlin 1 Halloween

Caitlin Clark may have just released her first signature sneaker, but she’s already part of the holiday celebrations with her Nike Caitlin 1 Halloween. The shoe features a black Opticast upper, featuring mini “22” and “CC” nubs across the upper. Accenting the dark hits are ghost green details on two of the stacked Swoosh logos and her “CC” logo on the tongue. Below sits a glow-in-the-dark outsole.

Nike Sabrina 4 Halloween

Sabrina Ionescu’s fourth signature model, the Nike Sabrina 4, joins the Halloween 2026 collection with a vampire-inspired colorway. The pair is primarily coated in black, with blood red dripping on the back half of the Swoosh. Darker red is located on the sockliner, which sits near the vampiric caricature of Sabrina Ionescu on the insole. Finishing the shoe is a black midsole with blood splatter throughout.

A’ja Wilson took part in Nike Basketball’s Halloween 2025 collection with a candy corn-inspired colorway, but this year, she’s ditching the candy for a Halloween costume-inspired colorway. A mismatched upper is applied, with the lateral side featuring blood splatter against a light green hue, while the medial side contains a red and yellow hexagonal pattern. More blood splatter lands on the sole unit, and branding elements are reworked to fit into the spooky theme.

Nike Book 2 Oogie Boogie

When Devin Booker’s Nike Book 1 Halloween first hit shelves, we were given a look at another version that was exclusive to Devin. That Book 1 took inspiration from The Nightmare Before Christmas, using Oogie Boogie’s look on the model. That theme has now transitioned onto the retail version of the Nike Book 2 for Halloween, with the cream white upper mimicking the burlap look of the monster. Frankenstein-esque stitching details and reworked Book branding on the tongue aid in the Halloween-ready look.

Nike KD 19 Halloween

Last year, Kevin Durant’s Nike KD 18 used a skeleton theme for its Halloween colorway, but in 2026, the KD 19 is rendered in a pumpkin orange. The only photos we have are of a Nike clothing model wearing the shoe, so we don’t have a complete look, but it appears there’s a Halloween-themed graphic applied to the lateral side of the upper.

Nike Kobe 3 Low Protro Mamba Eterno

Technically, Dia de los Muertos is a separate celebration from Halloween, but with the two events sharing close proximity, we’re including pairs from Nike and Jordan’s collections on this list. First up is a Nike Kobe 3 Low Protro dubbed Mamba Eterno, themed after the Mexican holiday. The pair features orange floral print details that are partially obscured by the midfoot cage, with mismatched purple and teal hits on the sockliner and heel Swoosh on the left and right pairs, respectively.

Nike GT Cut 4 Victor Wembanyama Halloween PE

Victor Wembanyama’s signature sneaker is still on the horizon, but before we can get a glimpse at what Nike and the alien have been cooking up, PE sneakers will have to do. Sole Retriever can confirm that Nike has created a GT Cut 4 Halloween PE for Wemby, but at this time, there are no photos.

Nike ST Charge Cade Cunningham Halloween PE

Another upcoming signature athlete for Nike, Cade Cunningham, has been leading the charge (no pun intended) for the Nike ST Charge. His next PE will be a Leatherface-themed rendition of the ST Charge, with the villain from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre thoughtfully translated into sneaker form.

Nike Air Force 1 Low ‘01 Hellraiser

Another horror classic that is brought to life by Nike is the 1987 film Hellraiser. Nike uses the Air Force 1 Low ‘01 as the base, taking inspiration from the movie’s most recognizable monster, Pinhead, for the colorway. A grid pattern of pins is placed across the upper, with red trimming each black leather panel.

Jordan Halloween Sneakers

Jordan Brand is bringing out an all-new Air Jordan 5 colorway to celebrate Halloween. Casting the sneaker is dark black hues, pops of green trim the Jumpman logo and the “23” embroidery on the lateral heel, while the main feature of the sneaker is hidden in the outsole. When the lights go out, the rubber glows in the dark.

Jordan Triangle Paolo Banchero Halloween PE

Looking like something straight out of Ghostbusters, Paolo Banchero’s Jordan Triangle PE is coated in a slimy green color palette. The pair switches its green hues between the base layer and overlays. Inside, the insole features a slimy stylization of Banchero’s name, one spelled out and another being consumed by a ghoulish figure.

Air Jordan 1 Mid Día de los Muertos

While Nike Basketball opted to celebrate Día de los Muertos with a Kobe 3, Jordan Brand is bringing the theme to an Air Jordan 1 Mid. The sneaker features a dusty beige look, with circles stamped into the suede collar, splatter paint applied to the overlays, and a tumbled leather in tan for the toebox and midfoot. Intricate embroidered details are found on the Swoosh, while the insole features Somos Eternos branding.
