Attending the University of Florida is quite the experience, especially if you’re a student-athlete. Luckily, the school is sponsored by Jordan Brand, which means that on top of great apparel choices for fans, the athletes taking the field or court for the Gators get some exclusive heat on their feet. The latest player-exclusive Air Jordan to come from Gainesville is an Air Jordan 3 that was created to celebrate the Gators basketball squad’s NCAA National Championship from 2025.

The Gators’ Air Jordan 3 PE for their National Championship win last year starts out like you’d expect from a UF player-exclusive, with deep blue covering most of the suede upper. The premium suede is accented by croc… or should we say gator skin details that replace the traditional elephant print found on the mudguard, heel overlay, and heel tab.
Pops of parade-ready gold are found on the bottom and top eyelets, the Jumpman atop the tongue, and the split Gators and Jumpman branding on the heel. Just like the AJ 4 PEs made for WNBA stars and Jordan Brand’s NCAA schools from years past, the Jumpman on the heel is holding a gem where the basketball sits.
Inside the tongue, tags call out the Gators’ three national championships, with the left shoe playfully reading “3 Gator Chomps” and the right displaying the text “3 Gator Champs.” Final details include the Gators men’s basketball team’s record from the 2024-25 NCAA season, 36-4 in the regular season and 6-0 in the playoffs, a cream midsole, and an orange outsole with green accents.

Unfortunately, unless you were on that 2024-25 Florida Gators basketball team, or are willing to drop a huge check, you won’t have these PEs in your collection. However, there are some great AJ 3s on the horizon, including the Air Jordan 3 Laser later this month and a Santa-themed colorway coming in the holidays.
