The annual Family Style Festival is coming to Los Angeles this weekend, and the local restaurant and streetwear industries are getting ready to show out. In addition to whipping up food for the waiting hordes, LA deli Ggiata is teaming up with adidas for a limited collab colorway of the Adistar XLG 2.0, aka the Squid.

The Ggiata x adidas Adistar XLG 2.0 was previewed in an Instagram video showing a tiny remote-controlled truck traversing the streets of LA on its way to one of Ggiata’s seven locations across the city. On every block, a white and blue XLG 2.0 gets in the way or nearly crushes it, but eventually a co-branded bag presumably filled with bacon, egg, and cheese sandos drops between the truck and the shoes.

We can’t see any Ggiata co-branding on the shoe in the previews, but we wouldn’t be surprised to see the deli’s logo on the tongue.
