The Third Grand Theft Auto VI Trailer Premieres August 27 on Netflix

Rockstar Games is only months away from releasing what is likely the most anticipated video game of all time, Grand Theft Auto VI. So far, we’ve received two trailers for GTA 6 and an info dump that included new screenshots of Vice City and the State of Leonida, but fans have been clamoring for more. Speculation and conspiracy theories have taken over Reddit forums and social circles about a potential date for the third GTA 6 trailer, but Rockstar has officially announced a date for what they’re calling an “extended look” at the game.

GTA 6 Extended Look Premiere Date

In a press release, Rockstar Games announced that the extended look at GTA 6 will be released on August 27, 2026 at 3 PM EDT on… Netflix. If you don’t have a Netflix account, you can wait until 9 PM EDT that same day, as that’s when Rockstar is planning on uploading the trailer to its own channels. Realistically, as soon as it goes live on Netflix, social media will be flooded with the videos, so you won’t have to search too hard to find it even without a Netflix account.

The previous two trailers were more cinematic in scope and featured very few instances of actual gameplay moments, so we’re hoping that this extended look will showcase what GTA 6 gameplay is like.

GTA 6 Release Date

Although people have been afraid of another delay, Rockstar again reaffirmed the November 19, 2026, release date. The game will be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with a PC launch expected in 2027 or beyond. While we wait for the extended look at GTA 6, check out a trailer for the game below.
