J. Balvin has his sporting priorities straight. The Colombian superstar could certainly afford tickets to the NBA Finals and the transportation to get there, but instead of pretending to be a diehard Knicks fan, Balvin took a trip to Mexico to make sure he could catch the kickoff of the 2026 World Cup.
Lemonade Was a Popular Drink, and It Still Is
Balvin performed at the World Cup kickoff event at the Estadio Azteca in Mexico City for Thursday’s Mexico vs. South Africa game that starts the tournament, and he used the opportunity to show off a new pair of collab Jordans. Posting a photo of his feet on grass at Estadio Azteca, Balvin revealed a heelside look at his latest Air Jordan 4 collab in yellow lemonade reptile print.
We first got word of the Lemonade colorway collab late last year, but this is the first time we’ve seen images of the shoe. Even with just a look at the heel, Balvin’s yellow pair shows a clear look at the monochrome alligator print and the upside-down lightning eyes smiley face logo. The midsole adds more yellow to keep the monochrome vibes intact.
