K-Pop Star Jisoo Just Signed a Sneaker Deal with Salomon

Sneaker collaborators are no longer restricted to the world of athletics. What was once the domain of pro hoopers and NFL heavy hitters, pop stars, actors, and cultural ambassadors have long taken over the endorsement reins at shoe brands, offering lifestyle authenticity to a culture that would rather be like Benito than Mike. The latest global sensation with a sneaker deal comes once again from South Korean supergroup BLACKPINK.

From the Trail to the Stage

Jisoo is the latest K-Pop singer with her own sneaker deal, announcing a new partnership with Salomon this week. At just 31, Jisoo has had a multi-faceted creative career, hitting it big with BLACKPINK, but also making waves with her own solo music, acting roles, work on the label side, and more. Following BLACKPINK bandmates’ LISA’s deal with Nike and Rosé’s recent Puma collab, Jisoo is stepping off the beaten path for a partnership with Salomon.

“Growing up close to the mountains in South Korea, nature and the outdoors were a part of everyday life. Spending time outside continues to bring me a sense of freedom and grounding,” Jisoo said about the new deal. “What I value in Salomon is the balance between functionality, movement, and style. From the beginning, the partnership felt natural to me because it aligns with how I live and move in everyday life.”
