The athletes of the past sure do wish they were playing today. Not only because of advancements in the medical field resulting in quicker recovery times, but also the money that name, image, and likeness (NIL) deals bring to high school and college students. Some student-athletes are making more money than low-level rookies in the pros. For Jordan Brand, their NIL roster is stacked with some of the best up-and-coming talent in women’s and men’s basketball, and they’re looking to celebrate as March Madness approaches.
Without warning, Jordan Brand dropped five different T-shirts that honor NIL athletes, including the Boozer twins, Cayden and Cameron, Bella Hine, Mikaylah Williams, Kiyan Anthony (Carmelo’s son if you didn’t know), Kiki Rice, Sarah Strong, and the latest member on the roster, Azzi Fudd.
Three of the shirts are done with a pair of athletes, obviously pairing the Boozer twins together on one tee, but there’s also a shirt for Bella Hine and Mikaylah Williams, and Sarah Strong and Azzi Fudd. The latter of the bunch sees Jordan play chemistry class, using the initials of Sarah and Azzi (Ss and Af, respectively) to create a play on their bond on the court for UConn. Bella and Mikaylah showcase LSU’s talent on their T-shirt, featuring pics of them standing back-to-back alongside their signatures. Finally, the Boozer twins are pictured together, and like Bella and Mikaylah’s tee, their signatures are below their portraits.
