In Jordan Brand’s eyes, greatness isn’t limited to the basketball court. Michael Jordan’s eponymous sub-label with Nike has its hands in virtually all sports at this point, and when it comes to its football presence (soccer, not American football), Paris Saint-Germain has been the anchor. Expanding past the club level into the world of global football, Jordan Brand has officially announced a new partnership with the Brazilian Football Confederation.

Across both performance and lifestyle apparel, Jordan Brand’s Brazilian Football Confederation partnership is rooted in the concept of “Jogo Bonito,” a Portuguese phrase that translates to “play beautifully,” and merges the legacy of Michael Jordan with this Brazilian ethos.

Jordan Clark, Football GM for Jordan Brand, stated, “The Brazilian Federation is known for being the greatest football team in the world. Five World Cups, incredible players, R-9, R-10, Neymar, Vinny Jr., Estevão. And then when you think about Jordan Brand, Jordan Brand is greatness on the basketball side, 40 years of greatness, known as the greatest basketball player ever to play the game, and somebody who transcended the game, much like many of the players I just mentioned on the Brazil side.”

Starting with the performance kit, Jordan Brand will now be the official kit sponsor for Brazil’s away jersey, leaving Nike to take the alternate and home kits. “We originally kicked off with a concept called “Alegria Que Amença,” which means the threat of joy,” said Mackenzie Sam, apparel design director for Jordan Brand. “That’s the idea that when a Brazilian player is smiling on the pitch, that’s actually when he is the most dangerous. And that’s when the apex predator really comes out.”

This idea of an apex predator is translated onto the kits and the footwear components of the collection via an updated “elephant print” pattern. Instead of the traditional elephant print we’re used to seeing on models like the Air Jordan 3, Jordan Brand took inspiration from three of the deadliest animals in Brazil: the poison dart frog, anaconda, and jaguar. The color scheme comes from the poison dart frog, something also used on the upcoming Air Liquid Max, the pattern and shaping from the jaguar, and finally, the linear texture in the material from the anaconda.

For the lifestyle side of things, there is an array of apparel items, from shorts to hoodies, T-shirts, long-sleeves, track jackets, pants, and more, all featuring the co-branded Brazil and Jordan Brand logos. One highlight is a graphic T-shirt that features cartoon prints of cleats, a player scoring a goal, and, of course, the Jordan Brasil logo. The Brazilian flag colors, blue and yellow, are prominently featured across most lifestyle items, though some feature the more traditional green and yellow.

Finally, let’s talk footwear. In Jordan Brand’s presentation for the collection, they only showcased the Tiempo Maestro Elite SE in the Infrared 23 colorway, but there’s also a lifestyle Tiempo Streetgato we’ll touch on in just a bit. For the cleat, Jordan logos are present on the lateral sides, replacing the Nike Swoosh found on standard releases, while the apex predator print is embossed into the upper. Even with the Jordan Brand updates, the cleat still performs at the elite level it’s expected to, featuring Techleather material, a Maestro360 plate, bladed studs on the heel and forefoot, and twisted conical studs for plants and pivots.

The Tiempo Streetgato brings the apex predator print and elephant print details to the low-top off-the-pitch Tiempo silhouette. A phantom and sail color palette dominates most of the sneaker, with Jordan’s classic infrared 23 shade used on the Jumpman embroidered atop the folded tongue. Apex print is used on the suede upper, while the traditional elephant print is found on the mudguard and heel overlays.

Alongside these two soccer silhouettes, Jordan Brand has also prepped an Air Jordan Ultra, Jordan Trunner O/S, and a Jordan 1 Low SE to go alongside the collection. These three sneakers don't feature Brazil co-branding, but they all feature similar color palettes and are meant to match the aesthetic of the apparel collection.

The first Jordan Brand x Brazilian Football Confederation collection will be released March 12, 2026 via Nike at 8 PM ET. A wider release will take place at 7 AM ET on March 13. Apparel items range in price, but the Streetgato will retail for $130 while the Tiempo Maestro cleat is priced at $275.
