The WNBA season tips off tomorrow, and with a new leaguewide sneaker deal with Skechers on the books, players in the W are making final arrangements for their opening day footwear rotations. At Jordan Brand, the Jumpman has picked up two of the most anticipated rookies of the incoming class, starting with number 1 pick Azzi Fudd, and now, adding last year’s sixth selection, Georgia Amoore, who missed the entirety of last season with an injury.

Announced in a new Instagram post by Jordan and Amoore, the Washington Mystics’ guard is photographed wearing a pair of Air Jordan 1 Lows and matching Jumpman gear. As for her on-court footwear selections, expect Amoore to join the rest of the Jordan family with special releases and PEs from here on out.

The WNBA has cycled through a number of footwear sponsors as the league’s star continues to rise, and on the player side, sponsorships have flooded in for players across the league. For Amoore, who has played for Virginia Tech, Kentucky, and the Australian National Team, big time hoops is nothing new, but her long-anticipated entry to the W is a welcome sight, especially in Jordans.

As of now, we don’t have any info on upcoming PEs or team colored gear for Amoore, but Jordan always shows out for its stars, so be on the lookout for more from the partnership soon. To keep up with all the latest WNBA sneaker news, download the Sole Retriever App.
