Kith Brings Marvel vs. Capcom to Life in New Asics Footwear Collection

Kith x Marvel vs. Capcom x Asics Collection

Kith is quite the eclectic fashion label. One week, the NYC retail behemoth founded by Ronnie Fieg will work on high-fashion luxury outerwear, suits, and loafers with Giorgio Armani, and the next, drop a cereal collab or work with Converse on elevated Chuck Taylors. What has become a constant over the last two years is Kith’s footwear collabs with Marvel and Asics, marrying Fieg’s love of Marvel comics and his long-standing relationship with the Japanese footwear brand. Over the weekend, Ronnie teased us with first looks at a new project inspired by the arcade game Marvel vs. Capcom.

Before the weekend, Kith announced that it was working on an arcade cabinet with Arcade1Up, featuring Marvel vs. Capcom, Marvel vs. Capcom 2, X-Men vs. Street Fighter, Marvel Superheroes vs. Street Fighter, Marvel Superheroes, X-Men: COTA, War of the Gems, and X-Men: Mutant Apocalypse. On top of that, the label showcased a Capcom Edited Super Pocket containing twelve pre-loaded games: 1943 Battle of the Midway, 1944 Loop Master, Bionic Commando, Captain Commando, Final Fight, Forgotten Worlds, Ghouls ’n Ghosts, Wolf of the Battlefield, Street Fighter II, Strider, and a console version of Mega Man.

The Asics footwear collection features four different products, two double-box packs and two individual shoes. For the double-box, Kith has prepped a Gel-Nimbus 10.1 for Iron Man vs. Mega Man, while the other features the Kayano 12.1 for Captain America vs. Guile. Ryu and Wolverine each get their own Gel-Kayano 14. The packaging contains images of Captain America, Iron Man, Mega Man, and Guile. Once opened, the box reveals the other two heroes, Wolverine and Ryu. Unlike previous Kith Marvel drops, the comic books are only included in the double-box packs. These will vary in rarity and may even come PSA graded.

The Kith x Marvel vs. Capcom x Asics Collection will be released on November 14, 2025 via Kith online and in-store. Early access for select Kith Loyalty members went live on November 11. The draw also went live on the same day, with the FCFS drop on the 14th.
