Kith is Dropping a 16 Pair Nike Collection in 2027 to Celebrate its Sweet 16

Ronnie Fieg is in the midst of celebrating the 15th anniversary of his Kith empire, with more collabs than you can count on both hands. The pinnacle comes next week when Fieg and Kith bring back the first-ever Kith collab, the Kith x Asics Gel-Lyte III Salmon Toe. But looking past 2026’s packed calendar, Ronnie is already planning for the brand’s Sweet 16 in 2027. Not typically an anniversary celebrated by brands, the 16th anniversary of Kith is set to include a wide-ranging capsule of sneakers in collaboration with Nike, 16 different models to be exact.

Kith’s Sweet 16 Nike Collection

In an interview with Idea Generation, Ronnie Fieg spoke about his relationship with Nike and CEO Elliott Hill, revealing that Nike just missed the boat on joining Kith’s 15th anniversary celebration. Instead, Fieg drew inspiration from his two daughters and decided that Kith could make something of its 16th birthday, in the same vein as girls often celebrate with a Sweet 16 party.

This led to the creation of Kith’s next capsule with The Swoosh, which is set to include 16 of Fieg’s favorite Nike models. Luckily, Ronnie previously shared his top 10 Nike and Jordan silhouettes in a social media post back in April 2025. His top three, the Air Max 95, Air Force 1 Low, and Air Footscape Woven, have already been seen in Kith collabs. The other seven include the Jordan 1 High ‘85, Jordan 11, Jordan 3, Air Max 1, Air Zoom Spiridon, Dunk Low, and Air Max 97.

Nike has given multiple designers the reins to drop massive collections akin to Kith’s plans for the Sweet 16 capsule, most notably Virgil Abloh and his The Ten collection. The late-great visionary worked on 10 iconic Nike silhouettes in 2017, and from there, worked on a number of different sneakers, like the Dunk Low. Hopefully, with Kith and Nike’s relationship deepening, we can see Fieg tackle more projects with The Swoosh.

When Does the Kith x Nike Sweet 16 Collection Release?

The Kith x Nike Sweet 16 Collection will be released sometime in 2027 to coincide with Kith’s 16th anniversary, though no exact timeframe was given. September 30 marks Kith's true birthday, so it’s possible we'll get a release around then.
