Ronnie Fieg Reveals Kith’s On K-Tech Performance Running Sneakers

It's quite rare to be able to have your brand work across the entire industry without exclusivity deals, but Ronnie Fieg is a different beast. His Kith label has built relationships with virtually every single footwear company on the planet, with collabs coming what seems like every week. A few even give Kith their own sneakers. In his latest social media post, Ronnie Fieg breaks down the upcoming Kith x On K-Tech 1 and K-Tech 2, new sneakers he built from the ground up alongside On.

While many of Kith’s projects are on lifestyle silhouettes, these new On models are built for performance running through and through. Original plans were for Kith branding to be integrated into the CloudTech tooling of the sneaker, but that was scratched in favor of placing the Kith logo on the outsole. Fieg worked with On to create new CloudTech tooling, with the K-Tech 1 and K-Tech 2 sneakers both using this enlarged cushioning system. The upper on the K-Tech 1 keeps things muted and simple, with minimal branding via a small Kith flag on the lateral side and a heat-pressed On logo on the medial side.

For the K-Tech 2, Fieg added more paneling to the upper to give it more depth, using heat-fused details on the collar, around the vamp, and heel. There are also multiple materials used here, including open-spaced mesh on the base and suede overlays around the toe, differing from the one-piece synthetic used on the K-Tech 1.

According to Ronnie Fieg, the Kith x On K-Tech Series will debut next week, though we’re not sure if he means a retail release or if it's just the start of the rollout. Kith does have a track record of dropping products shortly after revealing them, so it’s not too far-fetched to see these sneakers drop by this time next week.
