Because he came into the league so young, LeBron James evolved into an elder statesman of the NBA younger than most. Now, as rumors start to swirl about The King’s potential retirement and the end of an era, James is doing his best to put the next generation of hoopers under his wing, from Lakers teammates like Austin Reaves and his son Bronny to local college stars like USC’s JuJu Watkins.

LeBron debuted his latest Nike NXXT Gen takedown model on the court over the weekend, which is labeled as “By JuJu,” so we’re not sure if that means collab colorways or if she helped in the design. The silver and grey pair features a shiny metallic material on the one-piece toe and lace panel and the bottom half of the side panel that swoops back to the heel. The top half of the side panels features a clear mesh structure with perforations sitting underneath for added breathability.

A bright, shiny metallic silver Swoosh bisects the two halves of the side panel with even more metallic silver on the tongue logos. The colorway is finished with more bright silver on the midsole. The colorway is just the latest in JuJu’s collab colorway line, following a USC-themed GT Cut 3 Turbo.

The Nike LeBron NXXT Gen by JuJu Watkins doesn’t have a release date quite yet, but with All-Star Weekend upon us, there’s a shot this pair drops as soon as Friday. More colorways of the Nike LeBron NXXT Gen By JuJu Watkins will be released throughout 2026 with a retail price set at $170.
