LeBron James Just Teased the Nike LeBron 24

The fallout still hasn’t fully settled from LeBron’s move to the Philadelphia 76ers, but The King is (and has been) putting in the work for year 24 in the NBA. With his 24th season comes his 24th sneaker, the Nike LeBron 24. Bron previously told Tyrese Haliburton on the Mind the Game podcast back in February that he and Nike were finalizing the design of the 24 and beginning work on the 25, but now, we’re getting a first glimpse at the latest Nike LeBron model.

A “first glimpse” is a bit of a stretch, as LeBron posted a video of himself on a VersaClimber TS with a GIF covering the shoes on his feet. However, once the GIF resets, there is a brief moment where you can catch the all-black weartest sample. Due to the quality of the video, Bron’s constant movement, and the GIF partially blocking the shoes, it’s tough to get a good glimpse at the sneaker, but we can make out one change from the LeBron 23. It seems that the crown-shaped containment system introduced on the 23 is gone in favor of a single-piece upper.

Nike LeBron 24 Release Info

If previous Nike LeBron rollouts are any indication, the preview of the LeBron 24 in July will lead into a full reveal in September, followed by a release in October. As of now, a retail price and the first colorways have not been confirmed, but with his recent move to Philly, expect to see some 76ers-inspired color schemes at some point.
