LEGO is Dropping New Marvel Avengers: Doomsday Sets

Comic-Con has wrapped up, and we got a boatload of news from Marvel. We saw Ryan Gosling enter the MCU, Ryan Coogler announce the next Black Panther film, and Robert Downey Jr. premiere his Dr. Doom voice. Marvel is clearly top of mind for many people, and while we have Spider-Man: Brand New Day to hold us over before Avengers: Doomsday, LEGO is adding to the Doomsday hype with new sets for the Marvel heroes and villains in the film.
LEGO x Marvel Avengers: Doomsday Sets
Five new sets were revealed by LEGO, each featuring references to the characters and world of Avengers: Doomsday. Anchoring the collection is a Doctor Doom bust depicting Victor von Doom's chest, shoulders, and head, as played by Robert Downey Jr. in the film. The Latverian villain also comes in minifigure form to display at the base of the bust.
Another set featured in this new batch depicts the Avengers fighting a Sentinel robot. Minifigures of Doctor Doom, Magneto, Thor, Nightcrawler, Mystique, and Mister Fantastic are present in the set, and they can be placed wherever you please, thanks to the transparent sticks included in the box. The Sentinel’s arms are movable, with an additional arm and head included to allow for customization. If you’re just looking to display some heroes and villains from the film, four LEGO BrickHeadz come in a set, including Gambit, Thor, The Thing, and Doctor Doom. Each of the four characters comes with their weapon of choice in hand.
LEGO has also created a New Avengers Tower set. Spoilers ahead, but in the Thunderbolts* film, it’s revealed that Valentina Allegra de Fontaine acquired the Avengers Tower and renovated it. Included in this set are 6 minifigures, including Doctor Doom, Yelena, Red Guardian, Bucky Barnes, Human Torch, and Sentry. Four floors of the building are visible from the back side, with references to the soda room, landing pad, detention center, control room, and more.
The fifth and final set is for the Quinjet. The plane model is used throughout the MCU, and this set features minifigures for Cyclops, Doctor Doom, The Thing, and Captain America. In addition to having the appearance of the Quinjet from the films, it also features a functioning stud shooter. The cockpit opens to allow for a minifigure pilot, plus openings on the top and rear for access to the interior.
LEGO x Marvel Avengers: Doomsday Set Release Info
The five new LEGO x Marvel Avengers: Doomsday sets are on LEGO’s website, but only the Doctor Doom Bust is available for pre-order. The Doom Bust retails for $50 and will ship from September 1 onwards. The Sentinel fight ($100), BrickHeadz ($40), New Avengers Tower ($110), and Quinjet ($60) will be released on October 4, 2026, with pre-orders expected soon.
