Levi’s is Dropping a Year of the Horse Jordan 3 Collab Exclusively in San Francisco

It’s Super Bowl Sunday, and much of the sports world has descended into San Francisco to witness the rematch of Super Bowl XLIX between the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots. Not only has this been an excellent time for football fans, but also for sneakerheads, with various brands dropping high-heat and exclusive items over the last few days in the Bay Area. Ahead of the Big Game in San Fran, Levi’s, the denim company that has called the area home for close to 200 years, is dropping its exclusive Year of the Horse Air Jordan 3 collab.
If you’re in the Bay Area, you’ll be getting a shot at copping the Levi’s x Air Jordan 3 Retro Year of the Horse. When Levi’s and Jordan Brand first announced the release of their Air Jordan 3 capsule, the Year of the Horse colorway was said to be exclusive to Asia, with a release taking place at the end of January. Levi’s has said this will be the only opportunity to cop the sneaker in the United States.
The pair itself comes with a tan denim upper paired with faux pony hair overlays on the toe and heel. Perforated cream leather adorns the collar, while red denim replaces the usual plastic on the heel tab. More hits of red are found on the Jumpman logo on the tongue, the “Year of the Horse” embroidery on the reverse of the tongue, and on the Levi’s and Nike Air co-branded insole. Finishing the sneaker are a co-branded hang tag, a cream midsole, and a gum-rubber outsole.
Alongside this Year of the Horse colorway, Levi’s and Jordan Brand created three more versions of a denim Air Jordan 3, one similar to the Black Cement colorway, another in rigid denim, and finally a white colorway with blue denim accents that will be exclusively released in Los Angeles for NBA All-Star next week.
The Levi’s x Air Jordan 3 Retro Year of the Horse will be released exclusively at a pop-up held by Levi’s in San Fran on Sunday, February 8, 2026.
