If you went online yesterday or were in Downtown Los Angeles for ComplexCon, you saw all the chaos that unfolded on day one of the weekend event. But outside of the headline-making incident with rapper Lucki, the unorganized free giveaway for the upcoming Pharrell Williams x adidas Adistar Jellyfish, and fights in lines for the Satoshi Nakamoto Vans and the Victor Victor Air Force 1 Low ‘01, there were plenty of good moments that came from the LA Convention Center. For Lil Yachty, he took the event as an opportunity to debut a limited Air Force 1 Mid collab.
Lil Yachty x Nike Air Force 1 Mid Yellow Details
Rumors of a Lil Yachty Nike Air Force 1 Mid collab hit the ‘net months ago, and we’ve seen Boat preview multiple sample pairs of the Concrete Boys-branded Forces. However, the rapper’s booth at ComplexCon showcased a never-before-seen yellow colorway alongside two sample pairs that are reportedly for friends-and-family. On the retail version, which is limited to 1,000 pairs, Yachty applies a premium faux croc leather to the paneling of the AF1 Mid, dousing the sneaker in a yellow hue.
Trimming each panel are hits of black, matching the Concrete Boys logo embroidered on the lateral heel, the jewel Swoosh on the midfoot, and the lace set. Yachty’s Concrete Boys logo is also found back on the heel tab, replacing the traditional Nike Air, while more converted branding is found on the tongue. Here, the “It’s Us” is embroidered in yellow on a black tongue tag, matching the branding makeover found on Yachty’s other AF1 projects. One final addition to the branding is found inside the tongue, which now contains a “Lil Yachty” patch. Down below sits a black-on-black rubber midsole and outsole.

According to a screenshot of a conversation with Lil Yachty posted by Sneaker Denn, the Lil Yachty x Nike Air Force 1 Mid Yellow is limited to 1,000. The message also implies that these are a ComplexCon exclusive, and on the first day of the event, some customers reportedly waited 5 hours in line in order to get access.
