Melitta Baumeister wants you to run like no one is looking, but she wants you to do it in a pair of shoes that will attract every eye on the street. After months of previews, the designer’s first Nike Running collection is almost here, and we’ve finally got detailed images of the hand-painted, charcoal-smudged Pegasus Premium.

Introduced earlier this month by Sha’Carri Richardson, The Melitta Baumeister x Nike Pegasus Premium Volt starts with a base of monochrome neon green in Nike’s favorite Volt shade and then goes to art class. In what appears to be charcoal additions, Baumeister hand-painted the shoe in a blotchy pattern of ashy black overlays across the entire upper.

On the lateral heel of the Zoom Air unit in the middle of the midsole, Baumeister adds the phrase “Run like no one is watching” with an MB Swoosh logo and a Melitta Baumeister New York City logo on the heel. The watching theme comes front and center on the medial side panel and the heel tag with large eye graphics. On the inside of the tongue, a hand graphic adds more body parts with a note that the pairs are hand-painted. In addition to the Pegasus Premium, the collab pack adds an eye-emblazoned orange pair of the Vomero Premium.

The Melitta Baumeister x Nike Pegasus Premium Volt will be released April 1, 2026 through Melitta Baumeister’s website, with a wide release through Nike on April 8.
