For Whom the Bell Tolls: Metallica and adidas are Dropping a Collab Clothing Capsule

Metallica might be the most popular metal band in the history of the genre. The California rockers have been releasing albums and touring for decades, with a few breakups, make-ups, and lineup changes in between. Now, the band’s latest gig is ditching the stadium lights and studio mics for a clothing capsule in collaboration with adidas.

Enter Sandman

Following hard rock collabs with the likes of Anthrax and Korn, the latest Three Stripes riff features old-school ringer tees and three-quarter-length baseball shirts, all with Metallica branding on the front and Three Stripes running down the sleeves on the ringer shirts. Arriving in men’s and women’s sizing, the ringer tees feature a classic Metallica logo in red on a white shirt with black details on the sleeves.

The baseball shirts feature a logo for the band’s new residency at the Sphere in Las Vegas called Life Burns Faster. The creepy graphic sits underneath a classic Metallica logo in black, with a Life Burns Faster tag at the bottom.

Metallica x adidas Release Details
