New Balance has been operating in Boston longer than Fenway Park has been open. This year, the legacy American sneaker brand celebrates the 120th anniversary of the company’s 1906 founding. To toast the occasion, New Balance is bringing out a premium colorway of one of its newest silhouettes, mixing a perfect blend of classic design and modern tech.

The New Balance ABZORB 2010 120th Anniversary is a study in subtlety. Constructed out of premium black suede and matching black mesh, hits of New Balance’s iconic reflective grey are added behind the toe, on the tongue label, and on the heel panel.

A bit of classy contrast is added with a brown turtle shell coloring on the “N” side panel logo. Finally, a hit of red pops on the NB tongue logo and a slide-out box in matching black and gold complete the anniversary vibes.

The New Balance ABZORB 2010 120th Anniversary doesn’t have a release date or retail price just yet, but expect more on the pair soon. For all the latest New Balance news and drop info, download the Sole Retriever App.
