The NBA regular season finally gets started this week, and after an offseason full of speculation, investigation, and finally, punishment that sent the LA Clippers back to the NBA Stone Age for half a decade, Kawhi Leonard is ready to start his latest campaign back in Toronto, far from the scrutiny of Hollywood. Now, Kawhi’s latest news gets back to the court, with a new model from Kawhi’s signature New Balance line set to drop this week.

Kawhi’s Fifth Shoe is Ready for the Season

The New Balance Kawhi 5 has been on the Boston-based brand’s calendar since April, after we got a first look at the silhouette during Kawhi’s LA All-Star Game appearance in February. At first, the two debut colorways were slated to drop over the summer, but after a slight delay, the two monochrome pairs are set to drop the same day the Raptors kick off their regular season.

Arriving in Oregano Green and Blue Oyster, the two colorways both feature an all-over print upper with pops of contrast color on the side panel “N” logos. The Oregano colorway is a mix of leather, suede, and TPU in olive green with a copper-colored logo on the side. The Blue Oyster colorway features a base color deeper than the ocean, with silver on the side panel logo.

New Balance Kawhi 5 Release Details
