We’ve had our eye on the Air Bakin for a while. It’s been a dozen years since the wavy 1997 basketball silhouette had a retro release, and considering the push the brand has been on with vintage hoops shoes like the Hyperflight and The Glove, it was only a matter of time before Beaverton threw more Bakin on the fire.

Heating Up a Retro Return

We first got word that the OG red and black Nike Air Bakin colorway was coming back for a retro turn last fall, and now, after a handful of leaks and previews, The Swoosh is bringing the pair back to retail, with a feature in its latest SNKRS Verified release. In addition to the OG colorway, the Bakin is coming back in royal blue, multi-color, and a low-top variation.

Nike Air Bakin OG Release Details
