Halloween is one of the few holidays where the sneaker industry can really go all-out. Shoes play dress up just like us, ranging from candy corn-themed colorblocking to Frankenstein and zombie makeovers, with Nike often leading the charge across its basketball lineup. The Beaverton-based brand also loves to incorporate the classic Air Force 1 into its Halloween collections, with the model getting three different spooky makeups in 2024, including a Jason Voorhees and Skull color scheme. Continuing to riff on classic horror films, The Swoosh is releasing a Scream mask-inspired Air Force 1 next year.
Pictured is an accurate mock-up of what the Scream Nike Air Force 1 Low will look like. It should be noted that this is NOT an official collaboration with the Scream franchise, rather, it’s an homage to the film and the infamous mask that has taken on a new life since it hit the silver screen in 1996. The majority of the model is covered in white, with black trimming on all of the panels. Updated Nike branding on the tongue leans into the slasher aesthetic, while the mask itself makes an appearance on the heel tab. Underfoot sits a black midsole and outsole broken up by white details on the “AIR” branding.
As mentioned above, Halloween is one of the best holidays for the sneaker industry to tap into. Nike went all out this year with its basketball offerings, launching six different sneakers in spooky and All Hallows Eve-themed colorways. Expect to see more from Nike’s 2026 Halloween collection in the coming months.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low Scream will be released Fall 2026 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price has yet to be revealed. Download the Sole Retriever mobile app to stay up-to-date in real-time on the latest drops in the sneaker world.
