Sabrina Ionescu and the New York Liberty are ramping up for the stretch run as they hope to climb the mountain top and once again reign as WNBA champions. Ionescu has been bouncing back from an injury she describes as “not too bad,” but her return right before next month’s playoffs could be the fuel the team needs for a late-season surge.
Ionescu has been making her mark this season on the court and in footwear, as she followed up the Nike Kobe 5-inspired Sabrina 3 with a more unique silhouette with the Nike Sabrina 4 that keeps the Mamba Mentality while evolving the sneaker’s style. After being revealed ahead of her return to the court earlier this season, official images of the Nike Sabrina 4 Fuel have arrived.
Nike Sabrina 4 Fuel Details
The silhouette features a breathable mesh base covered in textured shapes that shift from small dashes on the side panel to lightning bolts near the heel. The toe, eyestays, and side panels all get dressed in a snakeskin-like look, while the plush toe box and ankle collar feature a matte implementation of the shade.
Adding to the popping pink look are hints of Lemon yellow on the tongue, the lowest eyelet, the textured Swoosh on the lateral side, the subtly perforated heel tab, and the heel of the outsole. Translucent accents on the forefoot midsole and white accents on the back wrap up the look.
