Devin Booker Previews an Eggplant Foamposite-Inspired Nike Book 2

Devin Booker is never shy about his lifelong sneakerhead status. The Phoenix Suns star is the NBA’s true arbiter of style, be it with his shoes or cars. In addition to the Spiridon, Air Force 1, and Nike SB Nyjah influence on his Nike Book 2 signature, Book is a noted fan of Foamposites.

Devin Booker is Bringing Back Foam

In a new preview posted to Instagram, Book posted an image of his new number 15 Suns jersey flanked by two new colorways of the Nike Book 2. On the left, we see a tiger-striped pair that Book wore last month, and on the right, a new pair of Foamposite-inspired Book 2s in a clear tribute to the OG Eggplant Foams.

Covered in a shield of metallic purple just like the iconic Foamposite colorway, the Nike Book 2 Eggplant Foam mixes hits of black on the Swoosh and accent panels with 3M reflective hits, adding some shine to the lace loops and tongue stabilizer. The Eggplant pair is the second Foamposite-inspired Book 2 we’ve seen, after Book boarded a private plane holding an orange pair when he first debuted the tiger stripe colorway.

Nike Book 2 Eggplant Foam Release Details
