We’ve been inundated with pictures of the Nike Caitlin 1 ever since Caitlin Clark debuted the sneaker back in June. Now, that’s not to say we’re tired of the sneaker; quite the contrary, we want to see the Caitlin 1 as much as we can. Clark just graced the cover of SLAM Kicks and showed off around half a dozen Nike Caitlin 1 colorways, all of which we’ve previously seen, but just hours later, she took to her Instagram to share a new makeup for the sneaker.
Nike Caitlin 1 Mint Details
The first thought that comes to mind when seeing a WNBA signature sneaker in this minty green hue is the New York Liberty and Sabrina Ionescu. And in all honesty, this pair would go great with a Liberty uni. It starts with a solid mint green shade on the toebox, and as it moves across the raised TPU “CC” monogram on the lateral side and “22” on the medial, it transitions into a racer blue shade. This is then contrasted by the multi-color multi-Swoosh logo, which features chrome, mint, and gold hits.
More gold pops on the “CC” logo on the tongue tag, which bursts off the mint green tongue. That racer blue hue that dominates the heel is also present on the sockliner, which is nearly the exact same shade as the debut Racer Blue Caitlin 1 we’re getting in October. Finishing the sneaker is the dark grey and mint green foam midsole, which houses Cushlon foam and Air Zoom Turbo, and a matching mint green outsole.
