Nike Brought a Poneglyph to Tokyo

In a new collaborative Instagram post from Nike Tokyo and the brand’s .SWOOSH department, Nike previewed its upcoming One Piece collab with a nod to the show’s adventurous themes. Taking the form of a Poneglyph, or for those not familiar with One Piece terms, a giant stone block inscribed with ancient texts, the Nike Poneglyph features a glowing Swoosh striking across the front.

We recently saw thousands of One Piece fans take over Chavez Ravine for a straw hat and playing card giveaway at Dodger Stadium, but if this means the Devil Fruit One Piece x Nike collection is dropping soon, expect to see even more hype. The Poneglyph preview’s map theme in One Piece parlance may even be a hint at some SNKRS Stash releases soon, but at this point, we’re all still waiting for more clues.
