The Florida A&M University Basketball Team has a special deal with Nike, repping LeBron James’ signature line like other schools rock Jordan Brand. Sometimes, though, a shoe is just too good to miss, even if it doesn’t fall into your specific sponsored line.
This week, the @twinrattlers IG page posted a new FAMU PE of the Nike GT Future in slime green carbon fiber with Rattler logos on the tongue. Following in the footsteps of the recent Duke GT Future PE, the FAMU pair features the same slick carbon fiber print covering the entire jagged upper, but this time popping in bright green. The Swooshes, outsole, tongue, and laces are all black, and the tongue adds FAMU orange on the vertical Swoosh and Rattler logo.
Over the years, FAMU has had some of the best PEs in college basketball, putting green and white on every LeBron you can think of. With the GT Future debuting on BYU’s AJ Dybantsa and showing up in Duke’s endless Nike rotation, it was only right that the Rattlers got in on the hype, too.
