Nike Celebrates Fat Tuesday with a Festive Mardi Gras Ja 3 PE

Few American holidays capture the heart of one specific location like Mardi Gras. The annual New Orleans bacchanal goes back centuries, bringing costumes, music, parades, and plenty of binge drinking to every corner of the Big Easy. Fat Tuesday passed earlier this week, but Ja Morant is still celebrating thanks to a new Nike Ja 3 PE decked out in teal, gold, and purple like the baby in the middle of the king cake.

The Nike Ja 3 Madri Gras PE popped up on social media around the same time Shia LaBeouf got arrested in the French Quarter, and by the time he was back out on Frenchman’s Street, we had already learned it was an exclusive pair that wouldn’t be seeing a public release.

Starting with a gradient reinforced mesh base that starts at dark teal green around the laces and shifts to golden yellow towards the bottom. The midsole and TPU monogram support structure are done in purple to match the laces, with an iridescent gold Swoosh outlined in more teal for extra NOLA energy.
