Last August, Nike brought back Kobe Bryant’s third signature sneaker, the Kobe 3, in Protro form. Since that Halo colorway hit shelves, we’ve only received one other high-top Kobe 3 release with the Christmas-themed colorway a few months later. However, there’s a new update to the Kobe 3 Protro, as The Swoosh slashed the sneaker down into a low-cut, starting with a PE of the Halo colorway and an ultra-limited public release of the Warning Label colorway. Now, after getting previews of the Mamba Magic rendition, official images of the third low-top Kobe 3 Protro have emerged.

Taking inspiration from the pink/purple lights used outside of The Forum in Inglewood, the former home of the Los Angeles Lakers, the silhouette is doused in various pink and purple hues. Starting at the toe, a tumbled leather in light purple is used that contrasts with the darker purples used on the mesh midfoot and the checkerboard TPU overlay. A metallic finish is applied on the top of the tongue, while the lace set and mesh tongue are rendered in a lighter purple shade.

Sharply contrasting these colorful hits are deep black hues used on the sockliner, heel tab, and top portion of the sole unit. Back on the heel, a metallic purple Swoosh sits above a small pink Kobe sheath logo and Zoom Air branding. Final details on the upper include a Kobe Bryant signature on the right shoe’s lace dubrae and a stylized version of his number “24” on the left lace dubrae. Down below sits a semi-translucent pink midsole and outsole housing an Air Zoom Strobel unit and Cushlon 3.0 foam.

The Nike Kobe 3 Low Protro Mamba Magic will be released March 13, 2026 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $190.
